About the Role

As Brazil Country Manager, you will lead Hornet's local marketing and product localization efforts in one of our most important markets. You'll drive community engagement, partnerships, local activations, and market growth while helping ensure Hornet resonates with users across Brazil.

This role works cross-functionally with marketing, product, data, and operations teams.


What You'll Do

Grow Hornet's presence in Brazil

  • Drive user acquisition, activation, and retention initiatives tailored to the Brazilian market
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities

Build partnerships & community

  • Plan and execute local campaigns, activations, and events
  • Build relationships with LGBTQ+ organizations, creators, influencers, venues, and brands
  • Engage local LGBTQ+ communities both online and offline

Improve the local product experience

  • Share user insights and market feedback with the product team
  • Identify localization opportunities and content improvements based on community needs

Measure impact

  • Track campaign and engagement performance
  • Report regularly on KPIs, opportunities, and market insights


What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 4–7 years of experience in marketing, community management, or similar roles, ideally within tech
  • Strong understanding of Brazil's LGBTQ+ community, culture, and media landscape
  • Existing relationships within LGBTQ+ organizations, creator networks, venues, or community spaces in Brazil
  • Native or fluent Portuguese and professional English proficiency
  • Experience working with influencers, media, partnerships, or events
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a remote environment
