Amplifying the radical, affirmative power of the queer community with cutting-edge technology, Queer Networks serves the LGBTQ+ community with products such as the gay chat app Hornet, with over 100 million users worldwide, the gay live-streaming app Hornet Live, and HornetX, a map-based web app for gay guys. Do you want to join Hornet? We are looking for a Junior Support Team Member to join our moderation team.

Your Tasks

  • Moderate user-generated content and user profiles in line with company guidelines, including reviewing, editing, or rejecting non-compliant content.
  • Investigate and resolve user reports, ensuring appropriate and timely action.
  • Identify users at potential risk and escalate or respond according to safety protocols.
  • Detect, prevent, and remove spam, scam activity, and other forms of platform abuse.
  • Support our livestreaming product, Hornet Live, when required.
  • Provide translation support when required.

    Your Profile & Experience

    • Strong written English and the ability to understand instructions clearly.
    • Consistent judgment and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage your workload independently in a repetitive and focus-heavy role.
    • Comfortable working with adult or sensitive content.
    • Reliable team player who feels at ease in a fully remote environment.

    Hours and Contract

    • One-year contract with the possibility of extension.
    • Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, including weekends.
    • This is an entry-level role with a fixed monthly compensation of USD 550 and requires full availability.

    Requirements

    • Desktop or laptop computer with a stable, fast internet connection.
    • Ability to work remotely, including possible night shifts depending on your timezone.
    • A private workspace is required due to the nature of the content.
